Preaching Ministry
It is our desire to draw people into a saving relationship with Jesus Christ and to see believers grow into the image of Christ. We believe the preaching of the inspired, inerrant Word of God is the essential means by which this is accomplished. The Creative Arts Ministry, led by our interim leader, Mel Tunney, is an integral part of the corporate worship experience at the First Family. Our gifts and passions are expressed in many ways with the ultimate purpose of lifting up Jesus Christ and making His glory known."Let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name." Choir and Worship teams
The First Family Worship Choir is a passionate group of singers who love God and desire to use their voices as instruments of praise. Our choir is a vital part of what happens musically in our times of worship.Praise Band
We use a full rhythm section, accompanied by alternate keyboards, and extra percussion. Some of our band rotates from week to week, so there are always opportunities to be involved.Orchestra
First Family has a wonderful combination of brass, stringed, and woodwind instruments. Our orchestra is made up of instrumentalists from many ages, backgrounds, and abilities.Drama Ministry
Our drama team has the opportunity to use their gifts in seasonal productions as well as occasional corporate worship settings.Media Team
Our audio/video technical ministry plays a vital role in how we communicate the Gospel at the First Family.
