PRAY

Prayer is the foundational, driving force of the First Family. In our process we say it this way: "undergirding it all with prayer." We believe without prayer, the rest of our process—worshipping, connecting, and serving—are all useless. We have made prayer a cornerstone of our ministry, believing God has called us to be a House of Prayer. To that end, we strive to model prayer as a relationship, not a ritual.

We attempt to give you multiple opportunities to engage in the prayer process and to be prayed with and for. During any given week, you will find members of the First Family praying at the altar during our weekend services, gathering in small groups to pray during our mid-week worship, praying daily for an assigned student, interceding for a church family members as part of our Shepherd's Staff prayer team, or spending an hour as part of an "around-the-clock" prayer team. In fact, it has become almost common for people in the community to either call or come by and say, "We heard you pray, so can you pray for me?"

Join us each Wednesday at 6:15 p.m. in the Worship Center for our Mid-Week Worship and Prayer service.

Monthly Prayer Gathering

Join us the first Thursday of each month as we gather in the Worship Center for a dedicated time of prayer.

The Prayer Wall

The Prayer Wall, our long-term prayer strategy, is filling up with people who are committed to praying one hour each week for church needs. If you have not done so, you can sign up at Information Central and pick up your instructions.
