What do you do to relax and find balance in your life? I paint. I've taken oil painting and watercolor classes, and my favorite way to relax is to set everything up in the dining room, turn on some classical music, and create!

What is your favorite thing about the First Family? The privilege of working with the incredible people in our worship ministry. Besides being wonderful singers and instrumentalists, they are like family within First Family!

What's playing on your iPod/CD player? I love to listen to podcasts from Tony Evans and Chuck Swindoll. I also enjoy listening to passionate worship songs that draw me into the Lord's presence. Our daughters frequently send me new songs they want me to hear, and I value their opinions!

If given the choice, the one thing you would never taste again would be… This is easy—eggs. In fact, I've found a scripture to back me up on this. Job 6:6-7 says, “…is there flavor in the white of an egg? I refuse to touch it; such food makes me ill.” Oh yeah!

What is the most memorable quote you have heard or read recently? I'm currently reading The Valley of Vision, which is a book of Puritanical prayers. So many of them speak the words I feel in my own heart. Here's one of my favorite portions: “There is much unconquered territory in my nature. Scourge out the buyers and sellers of my soul's temple, and give me in return pure desires and longings after perfect holiness.”

What makes you laugh? Humor that is clever rather than corny.

Are you a morning or night person? Definitely morning. However, I'm not as much of a morning person as my sweet husband!

What is your favorite movie? Probably either An American President or Sister Act 2.

What was your favorite book you read as a child? My grandmother used to read me nursery rhymes and I loved them. Even then, I was trying to hear a good poem/lyric!

Tunney Family Desk: Messy or organized? Overall, organized. It just may not look like it to someone else!
