Our church is partnering with Long Hollow Baptist Church in Hendersonville to collect shoes for Haiti. Before the devastating earthquake struck Haiti in January, it was already the poorest country in the Western Hemisphere. Now, the poverty level has increased drastically.
One of the most tangible ways we can help is to provide much needed shoes. Please consider bringing as many pairs as possible of new or gently used shoes. Specifically, we need the following types of shoes in all sizes - infants to adults:
- Tennis shoes
- Sandals
- Croc-type shoes
Bring the shoes and place them on the altar Sun., March 28, and commit to continue praying for the people of Haiti.
