What is the most memorable quote you have heard or read recently? Several, but the most impacting is a quote from Archbishop William Temple: “Worship is the submission of all of our nature to God. It is the quickening of conscience by His holiness, nourishment of mind by His truth, purifying of imagination by His beauty, opening of the heart to His love, and submission of will to His purpose. And all this gathered up in adoration—the greatest of human expression of which we are capable.”
What makes you laugh? Things that are funny, while not at the expense of someone else.

What is your favorite movie? Braveheart or Air Force One (no girly movies here!)
What was your favorite book you read as a child? As a 12-year-old, I read Instant Replay by Jerry Kramer.
Desk: Messy or organized? Depends on what day... generally it's not terrible.Dick and Mel Tunney have been involved in nearly every level of Christian music over the past two decades. As songwriters, arrangers, worship leaders and concert artists, the Tunneys' ministry has touched the church worldwide. Together they've garnered 10 Dove Awards, one Grammy Award and have had their songs recorded by numerous artists. Their work also appears in print publications and hymnals.
Currently, in addition to serving as Worship Leaders/Artists in Residence at First Baptist Church in Columbia, Tenn., they continue to travel on a limited basis leading worship in local church venues and parachurch conferences. Mel also directs “EverPraise,” a polished vocal ensemble at Trevecca Nazarene University. Dick spends additional time traveling as musical director and keyboard player for well-known Christian artist Steve Green.
