What do you do to relax and find balance in your life? I love relaxing on a ski slope, but that only happens a few times per year. Consistently, I like dating my wife, playing with my four children, watching a football game, Chinese cooking, or exercising to relax.
What is your favorite thing about the First Family? I love our simple process of developing fully devoted followers of Christ, and I enjoy working on a church staff that is passionate about shepherding people through that process.
What's playing on your iPod/CD player? Casting Crowns, Life House, Creed, and Dave Crowder are some of my favorites.
If given the choice, the one thing you would never taste again would be… Black olives, coffee, or steamed oysters
What is the most memorable quote you have heard or read recently? “When the storms of life come, instead of praying for deliverance from the storm, pray for peace in the midst of the storm.”
What makes you laugh? My kids... all four of them. Three of them are under the age of three; now you are laughing with me!
Are you a morning or night person? Morning person
What is your favorite movie? I love war movies, but Facing the Giants gripped my heart and is probably my favorite movie.

He shepherds the “connect” part of our church's process by overseeing the entire small group ministry of the church.
