The purpose of the First Family is to help transform ordinary people into fully devoted followers of Christ. We recognize that moving towards a fully devoted follower of Christ is a process – a spiritual journey. We have four words for that process – worship, connect, serve, and pray.
We exist as a church to connect people with God in authentic worship. We exist as a church to connect people to each other for encouragement and accountability. We exist as a church to connect people to a place to serve either inside the church in ministry or outside the church on mission. As a church we are committed to under gird it all with prayer.
Our Basic Training class is for anyone who is new to our church or would like to go deeper in his or her walk with Christ. It's a four-hour class taught every other Sunday from 4-8 p.m. Childcare and a snack supper are provided. Contact Karen Townsend to register or for more information.
